Gazoo™ Clear Orange Gazania

Gazoo™ Clear Orange Gazania is the clear-orange color form in Syngenta’s Gazoo™ series. The breeder describes large flowers on vigorous, mounding plants for showy pots and lists a mature garden size of 10–12 inches tall by 12–14 inches wide, with flowering from mid-spring through summer ([Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70000988)). ## Placement and care Choose full sun and freely draining sandy or loamy soil. Let the soil dry between waterings; Gazania needs less water than many annuals and can decline in wet or poorly drained ground ([North Carolina Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/gazania-rigens/common-name/gazania/), [UF/IFAS Extension](https://ask.ifas.ufl.edu/publication/FP225)). Its rounded form works in large containers, sunny borders, and mass plantings. ## Seasonal interest The orange flower heads are most open in bright sun and may close at night or on cloudy days. Use the listed width when spacing plants or choosing a pot. ## Maintenance Remove old flowers to encourage additional blooms. Avoid overwatering and keep the planting area well drained.
