Gazoo™ Clear Vanilla Gazania

Gazoo™ Clear Vanilla is a Gazania rigens selection from the Gazoo series, grown for large, clear-colored flower heads on vigorous plants. Syngenta lists a mounding habit, full sun, mid-spring-to-summer flowering, and a garden size of 10–12 inches tall by 12–14 inches wide. The clear vanilla selection has cream-toned petals that provide a softer color beside stronger yellows and oranges. ## Garden Use Use it in a sunny border or large container where the open flower faces and sturdy stems are easy to see. Syngenta describes Gazoo flowers as extra large and well suited to showy pots and landscape planting. The wider spread makes it useful for filling the edge of a container or the front of a warm-season bed. ## Growing Conditions Give it full sun and soil that drains freely. Gazoo is listed as a heat-loving annual; allow excess water to drain from containers and avoid keeping the roots saturated. Water consistently while establishing, then adjust to weather and container size. The supplier lists hardiness zone 11a, so gardeners in colder regions generally grow it as a warm-season annual. ## Maintenance Remove spent flower heads when they detract from the display and check containers during extended heat. The [Syngenta Clear Vanilla profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70000991) documents its identity, dimensions, habit, flowering time, and use; the [Griffin seed catalog](https://www.griffins.com/pdf/catalogs/2023-Griffin-Seed-Plant-Catalog.pdf) identifies the Gazoo Clear Vanilla flowers as pure and cream.
