Gazoo™ Clear Yellow Gazania

Gazoo™ Clear Yellow is the clear-color Gazania rigens selection in Syngenta’s Gazoo line. Its Americas product page lists a mounding habit, full sun, 10–12 inches of height, 12–14 inches of width, and flowering from mid-spring through summer; the line includes clear-color and ringed forms as distinct selections. [Syngenta’s exact product page](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70000989) identifies Clear Yellow. ## Form and flowering The vigorous plants carry extra-large yellow blooms that create a bright display in pots and landscape plantings. Gazoo Clear Yellow is the unringed selection; the separate Yellow with Ring entry has its own product identity. Gazania flowers open in daylight and close at night. [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/gazania-rigens/) describes the species’ flowering habit. ## Growing conditions Choose full sun and well-drained soil. Sandy-to-average soil is suitable, and the soil should dry between waterings. Gazanias tolerate drought once established, but should not be kept wet. ## Garden use Place this mounding annual in patio pots, borders, or mass plantings where its clear yellow flowers can be seen. It suits containers and sunny pollinator gardens; Gazania attracts bees and butterflies. ## Maintenance Remove faded flower heads to encourage continued flowering. Water after the soil has dried, and protect containers from frost if overwintering indoors.
