Kiss™ Flame Mix Gazania

Kiss™ Flame Mix is a compact, mounding Gazania rigens selection with brightly colored flowers carried above short, sturdy stems. The breeder describes it as especially floriferous and well suited to packs and small pots, with plants about 8–10 inches tall and wide. Its flowering season runs from mid-spring into summer, bringing a concentrated display to sunny containers and bed edges. Gazania heads open best in direct sun and may close in low light or cloudy weather. ([North Carolina Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/gazania-rigens/)) ## Siting Place it in full sun and use sandy or average soil that drains freely. Allow the soil to dry between waterings; avoid waterlogged containers and heavy, poorly drained beds. Its modest footprint works well in small patio pots, front-of-border plantings, and massed seasonal color. ([Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70019462); [North Carolina Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/gazania-rigens/)) ## Maintenance Remove faded flowers regularly to support continued blooming. In regions with cold winters, grow it as a seasonal annual; in warm climates, it may behave as a tender perennial. Keep drainage clear in containers.
