Dynamo™ Deep Red is a zonal Pelargonium in Ball FloraPlant’s Dynamo series. The breeder describes the series as medium-vigorous and uniform in habit, flowering time, and branching, with a strong first flush and a 12–14-inch garden height and spread. [Ball FloraPlant’s series profile](https://catalog.ballfloraplant.com/view/891584256/80/) gives the series traits and garden dimensions.
## Form and flowering
Large, bright flowers rise above crisp, medium-green foliage. Dynamo is bred for coordinated timing and continued blooms, and its mounding zonal form is suited to garden beds and large containers. Zonal pelargoniums flower through warm weather until frost and are commonly grown as annuals. [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/pelargonium-x-hybridum/) provides the species-group profile.
## Growing conditions
Choose full sun and well-drained soil. Moderate moisture supports active growth; container plants may dry between waterings. Avoid keeping the root zone constantly wet.
## Garden use
Use the deep-red selection in sunny beds, patio containers, or larger planters where its mounding flower clusters can provide a strong block of color.
## Maintenance
Water moderately during active growth and provide good air movement around foliage. Before frost, move containers to a bright indoor place if you want to overwinter the plant; otherwise, treat it as a seasonal annual.
