Galaxy™ White is a vigorous, upright pelargonium with bright white flowers, often with a small orange eye above dark green foliage marked with brown. The mature plant forms a compact mound about 16–20 inches tall and wide, with a long display that extends from late spring into frost. [Florensis](https://www.florensis.com/en/products/bedding-plants/annuals/pelargonium-zonale/pelargonium-zonale-galaxy) lists White in the Galaxy™ series, and [Promesse de Fleurs](https://www.promessedefleurs.ie/annuals/plug-plants-annuals/annuals-by-variety/pelargonium-geranium/interspecific-geraniums/pelargonium-galaxy-white.html) gives selection-specific size and flowering details.
## Placement and season
Use this warm-season plant in a sunny border, larger patio pot, or hanging basket after frost danger has passed. Its strong branching and semi-double flower clusters make it useful as a bold block of seasonal color; combine it with finer foliage or smaller-flowered annuals to balance the display. The Galaxy selections bloom for months and continue until frost in suitable conditions.
## Soil and watering
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and water regularly while containers are actively growing, especially during hot weather. Let excess water drain freely and avoid leaving roots in stagnant moisture. Iowa State Extension notes that container-grown geraniums need more frequent watering in hot, dry weather.
## Maintenance
Remove faded flower stems to keep the mound tidy and encourage continued flowering. Treat it as an annual where winter freezes occur, or move a healthy potted plant to a bright, protected place before frost.
