About Horizon Appleblossom Geranium

Horizon Appleblossom is a compact, upright zonal geranium grown for soft pink and white flower clusters above rounded green foliage. Syngenta lists the F1 color variety at 30–35 cm tall and 25–30 cm wide in APAC, while its [EMEA listing](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/emea/product/flower/70092138) gives 25–30 cm by 20–25 cm; allow about 10–14 inches in height and 8–12 inches in width across those published ranges ([product details](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/apac/product/flower/70092138)). ## Garden Use Plant it in a sunny border, bedding display, or patio pot where its pale flowers can be seen up close. Horizon’s early, even flowering and basal branching help it fill a small planting space; the series is described for landscape and container use and carries flowers into late summer ([regional flowering period](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/emea/product/flower/70092138)). ## Growing Conditions Give it full sun to partial sun and well-drained loamy soil. Water consistently enough to prevent the foliage from becoming excessively dry, especially in a container. The species is treated as an annual in the garden reference; in cold-winter areas, use it as seasonal bedding rather than relying on it to overwinter ([UF/IFAS](https://ask.ifas.ufl.edu/publication/FP458)). ## Maintenance Remove faded flower heads regularly to encourage continued flowering. Keep the planting open enough for air movement and avoid setting stems deeply in wet soil.
