Create design onlineAbout Horizon Orange Geranium
Horizon Orange is an upright, branching F1 zonal geranium with orange flower clusters. Syngenta identifies it as a color variety of *Pelargonium x hortorum* and lists the Horizon series at about 30–35 cm tall by 25–30 cm wide, with early, uniform flowering for pots and landscape plantings ([product details](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/apac/product/flower/70092137)).
## Garden Use
Use it as a bright accent in a sunny border, mass planting, or patio container. The series’ basal branching fills space around the crown, while its sturdy flower stems keep blooms visible above the foliage. Syngenta describes the Horizon series as flowering early and carrying garden color into late summer.
## Growing Conditions
Grow in full sun to partial sun in well-drained loamy soil. Maintain steady moisture so the foliage does not become excessively dry, particularly in containers. The species is treated as an annual by UF/IFAS, which makes Horizon Orange a seasonal bedding choice in climates with cold winters ([UF/IFAS](https://ask.ifas.ufl.edu/publication/FP458)).
## Maintenance
Remove faded flower heads regularly to encourage continued flowering. Avoid setting stems too deeply in soil and allow enough room for air movement around the leaves.
