Mantra™ Magenta Geranium

Mantra™ Magenta is a named purple-magenta color selection in Syngenta’s interspecific geranium series. It combines bright flowers and dark green foliage with a vigorous, mounding upright habit. ## Seasonal Display Syngenta identifies this selection as Pelargonium interspecific and lists mid- to late-spring and summer flowering, a 16–20 inch garden height and width, and part-sun to full-sun exposure. The breeder also describes the Mantra™ series as heat tolerant and pollinator friendly, with large flowers suited to larger patio pots. See the [Magenta product details](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70080212) for the named color and growing specifications. ## Placement and Growing Place it in sun or part sun in a patio container or a well-drained garden bed. Use an open potting mix and water moderately during active spring and summer growth, allowing excess water to drain. Pelargoniums are tender; in frost-prone regions, grow them as warm-season annuals or overwinter them somewhere bright and frost-free. The [RHS guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/pelargonium/growing-guide) gives general advice on light, watering, and overwintering. ## Maintenance Deadhead faded flower heads regularly to encourage continued bloom. Keep the vigorous plant spaced so air moves around its foliage and the container drains freely.
