Maverick™ Violet Geranium

Maverick™ Violet is an upright F1 zonal geranium with large violet flower clusters above green, zoned leaves, as described by [Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70035174). The breeder lists plants at 14–16 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide, with free flowering from mid-spring through summer. ## Garden Use Plant it in a sunny container, a mixed annual display, or a small group in a bed where its saturated violet color can carry the composition. Its upright habit suits the center of a container or the front-to-middle portion of a border. ## Growing Conditions Choose a warm, bright site and a well-drained growing medium. Sow seed indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost and move plants outside after frost danger passes. Keep the soil evenly moist during establishment; water container plants as the potting mix begins to dry. ## Maintenance Remove spent flower heads to maintain a neat display and encourage continued flowering. Protect this tender annual from frost.
