Maverick™ Violet Picotee Geranium

Maverick™ Violet Picotee is an upright F1 zonal geranium with violet flowers edged in pink. Its published garden size is 14–16 inches tall by 12–14 inches wide, making it a compact choice for sunny containers and small bed groupings, according to [Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70045907). ## Garden Use Use the distinctive picotee flowers where the contrasting edge can be appreciated, including containers, raised planters, and the front of sunny borders. Combine with white or foliage-focused annuals to keep the bicolor blooms prominent. ## Growing Conditions Provide full sun, warmth, and a well-drained growing medium. Sow seed indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost and transplant outdoors after frost danger has passed. Keep the soil moist as plants establish and water containers when the surface begins to dry. ## Maintenance Remove faded flower heads to keep plants tidy and support a continuing flower display. Protect from frost; Syngenta classifies Maverick™ as an annual crop.
