About Nano Appleblossom Geranium

Nano™ Appleblossom is a seed-grown, naturally dwarf zonal geranium with soft pink and white flower clusters over compact foliage. Its tidy habit and generous flowers suit small pots, window boxes, containers, beds, and borders. ## Seasonal Interest The Nano series flowers early and is bred to keep producing large clusters for color through the growing season. Appleblossom’s gentle two-tone flowers work well as a close-up accent or as a light contrast among stronger annual colors. [Hem Genetics describes the annual Nano series and its Appleblossom color](https://www.hemgenetics.nl/en/assortment/geranium/nano). ## Growing Conditions Choose full sun and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Set plants outdoors after frost danger has passed, and use containers with open drainage holes. Water when the soil surface begins to dry; geraniums handle slightly dry soil better than waterlogged roots. [Illinois Extension’s geranium guide](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/geranium) covers light, soil, and watering. ## Maintenance Remove faded flower stems to keep plants tidy and support continued blooming. Check containers more often during hot, dry weather, and empty standing water from saucers. Avoid overwatering and remove damaged leaves as needed.
