About Nano Deep Rose Geranium

Nano™ Deep Rose is a seed-grown, naturally dwarf zonal geranium with deep rose-pink flower clusters and a light eye. The compact Nano habit makes this annual useful in small containers, window boxes, and the front of a bright annual border. ## Seasonal Interest Nano plants flower early and continue to produce large clusters through the growing season. Deep Rose brings a saturated pink note to patio pots and mixed beds, while its dark foliage gives the blooms a strong backdrop. [Hem Genetics lists Deep Rose in its annual Nano series](https://www.hemgenetics.nl/en/assortment/geranium/nano), and a cultivar listing describes deep pink petals with pale markings near the center [Svoi Semena](https://svoisemena.ru/nano-deep-rose). ## Growing Conditions Use bright light and fertile, moist, well-drained soil after frost danger has passed. A Deep Rose nursery listing recommends a bright position without direct sun, while general garden guidance for Pelargonium × hortorum recommends full sun; in hot climates, morning sun with afternoon protection is a practical starting point. Use a free-draining mix and a pot with drainage holes, and water when the soil surface starts to dry. [Illinois Extension’s geranium guide](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/geranium) gives general care guidance. ## Maintenance Remove spent flower stems regularly to keep the display neat and encourage continued bloom. Watch container moisture during warm weather, let excess water drain freely, and clear damaged foliage as needed.
