About Nano White Geranium

Nano™ White is a seed-grown, naturally dwarf zonal geranium with rounded clusters of white flowers above dark green foliage. The compact plant is suited to small pots, window boxes, containers, and bright edging or border plantings. ## Seasonal Interest The Nano series is bred for early, abundant flowering and a compact habit that holds through the growing season. White flowers provide a clear accent beside saturated annual colors and show well in small spaces. [Hem Genetics lists Nano White and the series’ season-long display](https://www.hemgenetics.nl/en/assortment/geranium/nano). [Park Seed’s Nano White listing](https://www.parkseed.com/products/products-geranium-nano-white-seeds-51295-pk-p1) also describes white blooms, full sun, and container use. ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun in fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Plant outside after frost danger has passed; in a container, choose a pot with drainage holes and avoid leaving water in the saucer. Water when the soil surface begins to dry, since geraniums are more tolerant of slightly dry soil than saturated roots. [Illinois Extension’s guide](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/geranium) covers these conditions for garden geraniums. ## Maintenance Remove old flower stems to maintain a clean display and encourage more blooms. Check pots more often during hot or windy periods, and avoid excess water around the crown.
