About Tango Orange Geranium

Tango® Orange is an upright zonal Pelargonium with orange, peach, and apricot flower tones. Syngenta Flowers lists it as a heat-loving Tango color variety, code 70080228, with flowering from mid-spring through summer and a compact garden size of 25–35 cm tall by 10–12 cm wide ([product details](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/emea/product/flower/70080228)). ## Seasonal Interest Use Tango Orange for spring and summer color after frost. Its listed flowering window begins in mid-spring and continues through summer, while annual geraniums more generally can bloom into fall in suitable conditions ([Illinois Extension](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/geranium)). ## Site and Siting Syngenta lists sun or shade exposure; a sunnier position generally supports fuller flowering. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil, and choose a container or bed with drainage so roots are not left in standing water. ## Landscape Use The compact stature works well in patio pots, window boxes, and the front of a mixed annual bed. Its orange-peach palette pairs readily with blue, purple, white, or deep-green foliage. ## Maintenance Water as the soil begins to dry and avoid overwatering in hot weather. Remove faded flower stems to keep the display neat and help sustain flowering through the warm season; protect the plant from frost or grow it as an annual.
