About Geraniums

Geranium, commonly known as cranesbill, is a diverse genus of hardy perennials valued for their mounded growth habit and delicate, five-petaled flowers. Unlike the tender Pelargonium, these plants are cold-hardy and thrive in temperate climates. Their palmately lobed foliage often provides attractive autumn color, while the flowers appear in shades of blue, pink, purple, and white. They are ideal for groundcovers, rock gardens, and borders, preferring well-drained soil and partial to full sun.
