Meadow Cranebill

Geranium pratense, or meadow cranesbill, is a vigorous clump-forming perennial known for its deeply lobed, mid-green foliage and saucer-shaped violet-blue flowers. Reaching up to three feet tall, it creates a dramatic mound that works beautifully in cottage gardens, borders, or naturalized meadows. This hardy species thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. Its nectar-rich blooms attract pollinators all summer, while the foliage turns a lovely bronze in autumn.
