Maxi Golden Yellow gerbera

FloriLine Maxi Golden Yellow Dark Eye is a compact pot gerbera with golden-yellow petals surrounding a dark central eye. Ball Horticultural identifies this exact selection as *Gerbera jamesonii* in the FloriLine Maxi series. ## Size and placement The named selection grows about 4–6 inches tall and 3–5 inches wide, making it suited to small patio pots and grouped container displays. Give it a bright, sunny position in a warm, sheltered setting. [Ball Horticultural](https://info.ballseed.com/webtrackplantinfo.aspx?ENV=P&phid=029008365014378) lists the exact selection, its species, dimensions, and series. ## Growing conditions Use fertile, free-draining potting mix and water during active growth, allowing excess water to drain freely. Keep the crown above the mix to reduce rot risk. The [RHS growing guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/gerbera/growing-guide) recommends careful watering and a warm, well-drained site for tender gerberas. ## Maintenance Remove faded flower stems at the base to keep the display tidy. Protect this tender selection from cold and winter wet, and move containers under cover before frost.
