Jaguar™ Fall Colors Mix is an F1 seed gerbera in Syngenta’s compact Jaguar™ series. Its upright rosette produces a changing mix of orange, red, scarlet, and yellow flowers; Syngenta lists the series at 8–10 inches tall by 6–8 inches wide, with flowering from mid to late spring into summer. ## Garden use
Use this compact gerbera in a sunny seasonal container or near the front of a mixed planting where its clear flower color can be seen. The Jaguar series is sold as a potted annual and is bred for uniform flowering and several blooms at the first flush. Its name refers to the warm palette: a 2023 Griffin seed catalog describes the mix as orange, red, scarlet, and yellow. ## Growing conditions
Give it full sun to part shade, with afternoon shade helpful in hot weather. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil and keep it evenly moist while allowing the surface to dry slightly between waterings. Set the crown at or just above the soil line, avoid overhead watering, and leave enough space for air to move around the foliage. [Clemson Cooperative Extension](https://hgic.clemson.edu/factsheet/gerbera-daisy/) and [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/gerbera-jamesonii/) describe these conditions for gerbera daisies.
## Maintenance
Remove faded flower stems at the base as they finish, and clear old leaves to keep the crown open and the planting tidy. Water at the soil rather than over the foliage; consistently wet crowns and poor drainage can lead to disease. In cold-winter areas, treat it as a seasonal plant or move a container to a bright, frost-free place.
