About Revolution™ Bright Rose with Light Eye Gerbera

Revolution™ Bright Rose with Light Eye is a compact, upright gerbera with rose-pink petals surrounding a lighter central eye. PanAmerican Seed identifies this Revolution F1 selection as PAS990068 and lists a 4–8 inch height, 10–12 inch spread, partial sun exposure, and flowering from early spring through winter ([PanAmerican Seed](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/029002849030577/gerbera-revolution-bright-rose-with-light-eye/)). ## Growing conditions Use it in a patio pot, container grouping, or sunny flower bed where its clear color can stand out. Gerberas grow best in fertile, well-drained soil; improve heavy or poorly drained sites with a raised bed or container. In hot summer climates, morning sun with some afternoon shade helps protect the flowers. Keep soil evenly moist after planting, then allow the crown to dry between waterings to reduce crown and root rot ([Clemson Extension](https://hgic.clemson.edu/factsheet/gerbera-daisy/)). ## Seasonal use The Revolution series is selected for coordinated flowering across its color range, and the breeder lists this cultivar across spring, summer, autumn, and winter seasons. Its cut flowers also bring the rose tone indoors. Treat it as a seasonal annual in regions with prolonged freezes or bring a container indoors for winter. ## Maintenance Remove spent flower stems to encourage more blooms. Water at the soil line, keep the crown at or slightly above the soil surface, and give plants enough spacing for air movement.
