About Revolution™ Deep Pink with Light Eye Gerbera

Revolution™ Deep Pink with Light Eye is a compact, upright gerbera with deep-pink petals and a pale central eye. PanAmerican Seed lists the exact F1 selection as PAS1122593, with a 4–8 inch height, 10–12 inch spread, partial sun exposure, and flowers across the seasons ([PanAmerican Seed](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/029002849035248/gerbera-revolution-deep-pink-with-light-eye/)). ## Growing conditions This cultivar fits patio pots, mixed containers, and sunny beds where its strong pink color can be seen close up. Grow gerberas in fertile, well-drained soil; use a raised bed or container if water drains slowly. In hot summer regions, morning sun and afternoon shade help avoid excess heat. Keep the soil evenly moist while roots establish, then let the crown dry between waterings to reduce the risk of rot ([Clemson Extension](https://hgic.clemson.edu/factsheet/gerbera-daisy/)). ## Seasonal use The breeder lists blooms from early spring through winter for the Revolution series. The flowers can brighten a container display and can be cut for indoor arrangements. Gerberas are tender perennials in warm areas but are commonly grown as seasonal annuals where winter freezes are prolonged. ## Maintenance Remove spent flower stems to encourage more blooms. Water at the soil line, keep the crown at or slightly above soil level, and leave space around the foliage for airflow.
