Revolution™ Golden Yellow with Dark Eye is an upright gerbera with golden-yellow petals and a contrasting dark center. PanAmerican Seed identifies the exact cultivar as PAS960198 and gives a mature height of 4–8 inches, a 10–12 inch spread, partial sun exposure, and flowering from early spring through winter ([PanAmerican Seed](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/029002849014378/gerbera-revolution-golden-yellow-with-dark-eye/)).
## Growing conditions
Its compact size suits a patio pot, container grouping, or sunny flower bed. Choose fertile, well-drained soil, and use a raised bed or container where soil remains wet. In hot summer climates, morning sun with some afternoon shade protects the flowers. Provide regular moisture as the plant establishes, then let the crown dry between waterings to reduce crown and root rot ([Clemson Extension](https://hgic.clemson.edu/factsheet/gerbera-daisy/)).
## Seasonal use
The breeder lists bloom seasons from early spring through winter and describes Revolution as a coordinated series for standard-size pots. The bright yellow flowers bring a warm accent to container plantings and can also be cut for indoor arrangements. Treat gerberas as seasonal annuals in areas with prolonged freezes or overwinter them indoors in a container.
## Maintenance
Remove spent flower stems to encourage additional flowering. Water at the soil line, keep the crown at or slightly above the soil surface, and leave space around the foliage for air circulation.
