Revolution™ Orange with Dark Eye is a compact orange Gerbera jamesonii for patio pots, containers, and seasonal garden displays. Ball Seed lists the standard Revolution selection at 4–8 inches tall and 10–12 inches wide, with upright growth and repeat flowering; the pastel-orange selection is described by its seed seller at 8–10 inches tall. ## Flowers and placement
The daisy-like flower head has dark center and orange ray petals, giving the series a clear focal color for a pot or front-of-border grouping. Ball Seed reports a long production flowering window across the Revolution color range and identifies PAS1519299 as the selection code. Grow one color for a strong block or combine it with contrasting annuals. These compact plants also make useful cut flowers. [RHS gerbera guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/gerbera/growing-guide)
## Growing conditions
Give the plant bright light in a sheltered spot; the cultivar listing specifies partial sun. Use fertile, free-draining soil or potting compost and water when the growing mix begins to dry, keeping water away from the crown. Gerberas are sensitive to cold and prolonged wet, so treat this selection as a seasonal outdoor plant in cool climates or move its pot under cover before cold nights. ## Maintenance
Remove spent flower stems at the base to encourage fresh blooms and keep the display tidy. Water consistently while it is actively growing, but let container compost dry slightly between waterings and never leave the pot standing in water. Follow the label for any fertilizer; Ball Seed recommends weekly feeding in production.
