Juniperus horizontalis 'Hegedus' is a low-growing evergreen conifer with a wide-spreading habit. Reaching 18 inches tall and 9 feet wide, it makes a superb groundcover. Its foliage is soft to the touch, emerging chartreuse in spring before turning bright gold. In autumn, the needles take on attractive orange and purple hues. This hardy cultivar thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, offering excellent drought resistance. It is perfect for rock gardens, slopes, and mass plantings.
