Heart to Heart® ‘Snow Drift’ is a compact, upright fancy-leaf caladium with white leaves traced by dark green veins and margins. Its bright foliage stands out in shaded borders and mixed containers, where it brings contrast without relying on flowers. The cultivar is documented in U.S. Plant Patent 27,072 and appears in Proven Winners’ Heart to Heart® caladium range.
## Garden use and appearance
The broad, heart-shaped leaves give this selection a bolder texture than strap-leaf caladiums. Use it in a container or a protected shade planting; the breeder’s product guidance places Snow Drift in part shade to shade. Existing 15–20 inch height and 10–14 inch spread labels are retained as garden-scale values; patent trial measurements describe plants grown under controlled potted conditions.
## Growing conditions
Caladiums need warm soil and steady moisture while growing. Plant after cold weather has passed in loose, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Avoid cold, soggy conditions; a pot can be useful where the ground stays cool or drains poorly.

## Maintenance
Keep soil evenly moist during active growth without allowing the tubers to sit in water. Protect from cold; in climates with winter frost, lift and store tubers for the dormant season.
