Heaven Scent Jacob's Ladder

This clump-forming perennial features striking fern-like foliage that emerges deep purple-bronze in spring before maturing to a lush green. In late spring, airy clusters of intensely fragrant, grape-scented blue-purple flowers rise above the mounded leaves. Reaching up to 24 inches tall, it thrives in cool, moist, well-drained soils and is an excellent choice for woodland gardens, borders, or containers. It is deer resistant and attracts various pollinators to the garden.
