About Ben Fhada Sun Rose

Ben Fhada is a spreading sun rose with light green foliage and bright yellow flowers centered with orange. Its compact 15 cm height and roughly 30 cm spread suit rockeries, gravel gardens, raised beds, or a low edging along a sunny path. ([Kernock Park Plants](https://www.kernock.co.uk/acatalog/info_U359.html), [Pépinière Lepage](https://www.lepage-vivaces.com/detail-article.php?ID_ARTICLE=1445&ONSELL=1)) ## Growing Conditions Give this evergreen subshrub full sun and freely draining soil; gravelly or stony ground helps keep winter moisture from lingering around the roots. Water while it establishes, then reduce irrigation in dry weather. Avoid persistently wet soil, especially in winter. ## Landscape Use The low, spreading habit works in a rock garden, dry trough, gravel bed, container, or at the front of a sunny border. Pair yellow flowers with gray foliage or drought-adapted plants, leaving room for the mat to broaden. ## Maintenance Trim lightly after flowering if the plant becomes loose or woody. Keep the crown open to air and avoid overwatering; this cultivar dislikes wet roots.
