SOL SEEKER™ Bronze Burst Helianthus annuus

SOL SEEKER™ Bronze Burst is an upright, early-flowering sunflower with large single blooms and a prominent bronze ring. Danziger describes it as the more vigorous selection in the SOL SEEKER series, giving it a strong presence in a sunny border or large pot. ## Size and Use Danziger's current [Bronze Burst cultivar page](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/sol-seeker-bronze-burst/) lists a height of 28–36 inches and a spread of 24–36 inches, with landscape and pot use. A separate [Danziger technical sheet](https://www.danzigeronline.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Helianthus-Sol-Seeker-2025.pdf) lists a 43-inch mature height and 36-inch width, so allow space for a broad plant. ## Seasonal Interest The breeder describes Bronze Burst as early flowering with extra-large, single heads. Ball Seed notes vigorous growth, strong branching after pinching and a wide bronze ring; its [plant profile](https://info.ballseed.com/WEBTRACKPLANTINFO.ASPX?PHID=109909511053949&env=P) lists sun exposure. ## Maintenance Choose a sunny site with room for branching and water as the plant establishes and develops flowers. Danziger reports lower water use than other commercial varieties in this series; this comparison does not establish drought tolerance.
