About Cranberry Baby Daylily

Cranberry Baby forms a compact clump of arching leaves with raspberry-red flowers, a darker eye, and a green-and-gold throat. Its small scale suits the front of a sunny border, an informal path edge, or a container where the flower detail can be seen up close. ## Flowers and placement Flowers open in summer and may repeat through warm weather. The [RHS profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/108481/hemerocallis-cranberry-baby/details) describes flowers about 7 cm wide and flowering height near 30 cm; [Plant Growers Australia](https://pga.com.au/Plants/Plant.cshtml?plant_id=2844) lists 40 cm height and 50 cm spread. ## Soil and water Give it full sun for the strongest flowering, with partial shade also suitable. Choose well-drained soil and water during dry spring or early-summer weather while the clump establishes. ## Maintenance Remove finished flower stems and tired foliage to keep the clump tidy. Divide established clumps in early spring or early autumn if they become crowded.
