About Siloam Little Girl Daylily

Siloam Little Girl is a compact, midseason daylily with small pink flowers and a rose-colored eye. The green-gold throat and arching, grasslike leaves give the older 1976 selection a soft, informal look in summer plantings ([Dave’s Garden](https://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/22393); [Jordan Valley Conservation Garden Park](https://conservationgardenpark.jvwcd.gov/plants/getPlantsByLetter?letter=S)). ## Garden use and siting Plants reach about 12 to 18 inches tall and are spaced roughly 15 to 18 inches apart. The single flowers are about three to four inches across. Set the clump in full sun or partial shade; it is reported to grow in a range of garden conditions and can suit the front of a border. ## Seasonal display The cultivar flowers around midsummer. Each bloom lasts a day, but buds open over an extended period, so the clump continues to provide color. Its pink petals and rose eye are easy to pair with blue, purple, or white perennials. ## Maintenance Remove spent flower stalks as needed. Divide mature clumps every three to five years to maintain vigor and share divisions ([Jordan Valley Conservation Garden Park](https://conservationgardenpark.jvwcd.gov/plants/getPlantsByLetter?letter=S)).
