Strawberry Candy is a semi-evergreen daylily with strawberry-pink flowers, a rose-red eye zone, and a golden-green throat. The American Daylily Society records 26-inch scapes, early-midseason bloom, extended flowering, and rebloom; Gurney’s lists a 24–26-inch height and an 18–24-inch spread. ## Site and season
Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil that does not dry out through summer. The RHS notes that flowering decreases in shadier sites and recommends watering freely from spring into summer. [RHS](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/108558/hemerocallis-strawberry-candy/details)
## Garden use
Use it in a flower border or group it with other midsummer perennials for a longer run of pink color. Its repeat flowering and extended bloom habit can add another flush after the first wave, although timing depends on the growing season. ## Maintenance
Cut flower stems back after flowering and remove dead foliage as needed. Daylilies can be divided in early spring or late summer; divisions should retain several fans and a healthy root system.
