About Everleaf Lemon Basil

Everleaf Lemon is an upright lemon basil bred for season-long harvest. PanAmerican Seed describes a highly branched plant with short internodes and flowering up to eight weeks later than standard lemon basils. Its bright lemon flavor is recommended for dressings, marinades, and salads, and the breeder notes performance in both garden beds and containers. [PanAmerican Seed](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/009100001052942/basil-everleaf-lemon/) ## Form and use Plants are listed at 24–36 inches tall and 8–12 inches wide, with full sun exposure. The breeder gives 30–45 days to maturity from transplant and 45–60 days from direct sowing. Use this selection when lemon-scented basil leaves and a prolonged harvest are priorities; it remains distinct from the Genovese and Thai types in the Everleaf range. ## Maintenance Grow in a sunny location and harvest leaves for fresh culinary use or repeated cuts. See the breeder page for current product information.
