Unusual pink flowers on impressive upright spikes that rise about 8 feet tall in early summer. Loves hot, dry, sunny locations and easily tolerates reflected heat. Attracts hummingbirds. Winter temperatures may turn folaige a reddish color. No pruning or care needed though the sharp leaves should be kept in mind when placing this plant. Hybrid between H. parviflora and H. funifera, it has the durability of both parent plants.
