Create design onlineAbout Cinnamon Curls™ Coral Bells
‘Cinnamon Curls’ is a compact coral bells selected for a rounded mound of glossy leaves with deeply divided, curled edges. Its foliage moves through copper, orange, red and purple tones, while magenta-red undersides show along the curled margins; the denomination ‘Inheuredfu’ is sold as DOLCE® Cinnamon Curls™ ([patent record](https://patents.google.com/patent/USPP25648P2/en), [Canadian variety record](https://active.inspection.gc.ca/english/plaveg/pbrpov/cropreport/heu/app00009146e.shtml)).
## Foliage and Flowers
The foliage supplies most of the display and makes a useful color and texture contrast in a mixed perennial border. Small pale flowers rise above the mound in late spring to early summer. The compact scale also suits containers and the front of a planting.
## Growing Conditions
Grow in organically rich, well-drained soil with steady moisture, especially in sunny sites. Part shade helps protect the foliage in hot afternoon conditions; in cooler climates, the plant tolerates more sun. Allow room for a mound roughly a foot tall and up to about 20 inches wide, with flower stems rising higher ([Proven Winners trade listing](https://www.siteone.com/en/86233b-heuchera-x-dolce-cinnamon-curls-proven-winners-coral-bells/p/905838)).
## Maintenance
Remove weather-damaged leaves in spring and trim flower stems after bloom if a neater mound is desired. Keep the crown at soil level and avoid winter-wet soil; divide established clumps when they become crowded.
