About Heuchera 'Crème Brule'

Crème Brule is a mounding coral bells selection in the DOLCE® Heuchera series, valued for peach-orange spring foliage that deepens to amber in summer. TERRA NOVA lists the cultivar as ‘TNHEU041’, with U.S. patent PP16774 and European grant EU20617; it gives 12 inches for foliage height, 14 inches for width and 22 inches for flower height ([TERRA NOVA cultivar profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/heuchera-creme-brule/)). ## Foliage and Flowers The warm foliage makes a bright accent among green or purple plants and works in mixed beds, borders and containers. TERRA NOVA lists white and yellow flower colors but does not give a bloom season for this cultivar, so the foliage remains the most reliable seasonal feature. ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun to part shade and moderately well-drained, organic soil. Keep moisture moderate, with good drainage around the crown; once established, this selection prefers conditions on the drier side rather than soggy soil. It is listed for USDA zones 4–9 by the breeder. ## Maintenance Plant with the crown at soil level and avoid burying it. Remove damaged leaves in spring and trim flower stems after they fade. A light mulch can help conserve moisture without keeping the crown wet.
