Electric Lime™ Coral Bells

Heuchera ‘Electric Lime’ forms a broad mound of bright lime foliage, with red veins becoming visible in cool temperatures. Its small white flowers appear in late spring to early summer on stems that rise above the leaves. ## Garden use The foliage mound reaches about 12 inches tall and 28 inches wide, with flowering stems around 16 inches high. Its generous spread makes it useful as a bright focal plant in a shaded bed or as a container specimen. Terra Nova lists this selection for USDA zones 4–9 and notes its similarity to ‘Electra’ along with its larger leaf and plant size. [The breeder’s profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/heuchera-electric-lime/) confirms the cultivar identity, dimensions, flowering months, and color changes. ## Growing conditions Site it in full shade, in well-drained soil with organic matter. Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy, especially during hot weather and while new plantings establish. ## Maintenance In early spring, trim away foliage that has become ragged and remove spent flower stems if desired. Keep the crown at the soil surface rather than burying it.
