About Harvest Burgundy Coral Bells

Harvest Burgundy is a clump-forming coral bells selection with scalloped green leaves, silver overtones, a burgundy blush, and dark plum undersides. Its fine white bells rise above the foliage, while the semi-evergreen mound keeps its presence in mild winters. ## Foliage and Placement Use this compact perennial along a shaded border, as a small groundcover, or in a container where the leaf colors can be seen close up. Growers list mature foliage about 12–16 inches tall, with spread estimates ranging from roughly 14 inches to 2 feet. [Sooner Plant Farm’s cultivar listing](https://www.soonerplantfarm.com/plant/coral-bells-harvest-burgundy) describes the plum undersides and a tufted mound; [Little Prince of Oregon](https://littleprinceplants.com/our-plants/plant-solutions/fit-for-a-king/heuchera-harvest-burgundy-coral-bells/) documents the silver-green and burgundy foliage and semi-evergreen habit. ## Growing Conditions Provide filtered light or partial shade and humus-rich soil that stays moist but drains freely. In cooler northern gardens it can take more sun if moisture is adequate. Water during establishment and hot, dry weather; do not leave the crown in standing water. ## Maintenance Clear old or damaged leaves in early spring and remove spent flower stems if desired. Keep mulch light around the crown so it remains exposed and does not stay wet through winter.
