Create design onlineAbout Hollywood Coral Bells
Hollywood forms a compact mound of dark, heavily silvered leaves and carries wand-like coral-red flowers above the foliage. The named cultivar is valued for its spring bloom and reblooming flower stems, with leaf color and flowering varying with growing conditions.
## Garden Use and Size
Place Hollywood at the front of a border, along an edge, or in a container where its metallic foliage and upright flowers are easy to see. The original [cultivar patent](https://patents.google.com/patent/USPP17129P2/en) records a mounding hybrid with USDA hardiness zones 4–9, dark silvered leaves, and coral flowers. A [Terra Nova-sourced cultivar profile](https://plantlust.com/plants/11452/heuchera-hollywood/) describes semi-evergreen blue-purple foliage, coral-red flowers, and a mature size around 8–16 inches tall by 8–12 inches wide.
## Growing Conditions
Provide sun to partial shade with regular, even moisture and rich, well-drained soil. Avoid waterlogged sites. Morning sun with afternoon shade can protect the foliage in hot climates, while enough light supports flowering.
## Maintenance
Remove damaged leaves as fresh growth begins and trim spent flower stems when the display ends. Keep the crown at soil level and divide an overgrown clump if it becomes crowded.
