About Timeless Glow coral bells

Heuchera 'Timeless Glow' coral bells forms a compact mound of chartreuse-yellow foliage that develops a silver overlay and matures toward lime green. Rosy-pink flowers are carried on upright stems above the leaves, beginning in early summer and repeating into early fall. The color of the foliage shifts with light and season, adding interest even when the plant is not in bloom. ## Foliage and flowers The foliage mound is about 8–10 inches tall and 16–18 inches wide; flower stems rise higher than the leaves. The flowers attract pollinators, and colder weather can bring pink or orange tones into the leaves. [The Jordan Valley Conservation Garden Park profile](https://conservationgardenpark.jvwcd.gov/plants/3094/timeless-glow-coral-bells) describes the cultivar’s color changes, size, zone range of 4–9, and moderate irrigation. The plant patent describes repeated rosy-pink flowering from early summer into early fall. [Patent publication](https://patents.google.com/patent/USPP31677P2/en) ## Garden placement Use the mound at the front of a mixed border, along a path, or in a container where its changing foliage can be seen close up. Part sun brings out more yellow in the leaves; deeper shade tends to shift the foliage greener. ## Growing conditions Provide well-drained soil with average moisture. In sunnier positions, water consistently during dry weather to limit leaf stress. ## Maintenance Remove spent flower stems to encourage rebloom and tidy winter-damaged foliage in spring. Divide established clumps every few years if they become crowded; a light winter mulch can help protect against frost heaving.
