Heuchera LITTLE CUTIES 'Shimmer'

Heuchera LITTLE CUTIES™ ‘Shimmer’ is a compact coral bells selection grown for silver-green foliage and long-lasting deep pink flowers. Terra Nova lists 5-inch foliage height, an 11-inch spread, and flower stems to 15 inches; its USDA range is zones 4–9. [Terra Nova’s cultivar profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/heuchera-shimmer/) identifies the Little Cuties series and describes its dense crowns and shade exposure. ## Garden Use Use the rounded clump near the front of a shaded border, in a small mixed bed, or in a container where its silver leaves and pink flower wands can be seen. Flower stems rise above the foliage from spring into fall, extending color through much of the growing season. ## Growing Conditions Part shade to full shade suits this selection. Plant in organic, well-drained soil and water at an average rate; once established, it is better kept slightly on the drier side than continuously wet. Keep the crown at soil level and provide extra water during hot, dry spells. ## Maintenance In early spring, remove winter-damaged leaves and clear away old flower stalks. Do not bury the crown when planting. [Terra Nova’s Heuchera growing guidance](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/heuchera-shimmer/) recommends well-drained soil and average garden watering.
