About Heuchera 'Paprika'

Heuchera ‘Paprika’ is a coral bells cultivar with warm foliage that moves through rose-orange, orange, and burgundy tones, with a pale veil over the leaves. Its compact mound adds color to containers and perennial beds, while small white flowers rise above the foliage in late spring. ## Garden Use The foliage reaches about 8 inches tall and 16 inches wide, with flower stalks to about 12 inches. Terra Nova lists USDA zones 4–9, a mounding habit, and bloom in May and June; the same page identifies orange, pink, and red foliage with white flowers ([cultivar details](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/heuchera-paprika/)). Use it in a container or repeat it in a mass planting for a warm color accent. ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun, part shade, or full shade in moderately well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy; established plants prefer average moisture and should not sit in wet soil. Leave the crown visible at the soil surface. ## Seasonal Interest The foliage is especially bright in spring and fall, with peach and orange tones through other parts of the year. ## Maintenance Water during establishment and hot, dry spells. In early spring, remove weathered foliage and allow fresh leaves to refill the mound.
