About Heuchera 'Peach Flambé'

Heuchera 'Peach Flambé' is a mounding coral bells cultivar whose foliage shifts from bright peach and orange in spring through fall to plum tones in winter. Terra Nova lists white flowers in June and July, a 14-inch foliage spread, flower stems to 16 inches, and USDA zones 4–9 ([cultivar details](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/heuchera-peach-flambe/)). ## Garden Use Use its changing leaf color as a seasonal accent, in a mass planting, or in mixed beds with spring yellows, summer blues, and fall oranges. The flowers rise above the foliage, and Terra Nova lists the cultivar for hummingbird and pollinator interest. Its compact foliage mound works well near a path or at the front of a shaded border. ## Growing Conditions Choose part shade to full shade and soil that drains well while retaining some organic matter. Water at an average rate during establishment, then avoid keeping the crown soggy; Terra Nova describes average garden water and prefers conditions on the drier side once established. Keep the crown at the soil surface and allow about 14 inches for the foliage spread. The [grower listing](https://www.jamesgreenhouses.com/plants/heuchera-peach-flambe/) also identifies the peach-to-plum seasonal foliage and white flowers. ## Maintenance Remove tired leaves in early spring and cut back spent flower stems after flowering. If the woody crown has lifted over several seasons, lift and reset the plant so the crown sits at soil level.
