About Tiramisu Coral Bells

Tiramisu coral bells is a compact clumping perennial with rounded, lobed leaves that change color through the year. Spring and cool fall foliage is yellow-green to chartreuse with red or brick-red mottling, while summer leaves become greener and may show a silvery overlay; small white flowers rise above the mound in midsummer. [Heritage Perennials](https://www.perennials.com/plants/heuchera-tiramisu.html) identifies the cultivar and patent PP20429, and the [Royal Horticultural Society](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/268822/heuchera-tiramisu/details) describes its clumping habit and sun-to-part-shade growing range. ## Garden Use Use Tiramisu at a border edge, in a container, or around shrubs where its shifting leaf colors can be seen close up. Its foliage pairs well with ferns, hostas, and other plants that prefer evenly moist soil. ## Growing Conditions Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. The foliage color is strongest when seasonal light and cool weather bring out the red markings; avoid standing water around the crown. The plant is hardy in USDA zones 4–9 according to Heritage Perennials. ## Maintenance Remove dead or winter-burned leaves in spring and cut back spent flower stems as needed. Mulch lightly without covering the crown, and divide every few years if the clump becomes crowded.
