Forever® Purple Coral Bells

FOREVER® ‘Purple’ is a vigorous coral bells selection with glossy, fluted purple leaves that keep their color through the seasons. Short stems carry pink-purple bells above its mounding foliage. ## Garden placement The breeder lists a mature foliage size near 12 inches tall by 22 inches wide and USDA hardiness zones 4–9. Plant it in a border, rock garden, or container where the purple mound can spread. It tolerates full sun, part shade, or full shade; in sunnier sites, provide adequate moisture and well-drained, organic soil. ## Seasonal character Terra Nova lists flowers from May through September and describes the foliage as purple year-round. Pair it with silver or chartreuse leaves for contrast, or repeat it along an edge for a continuous color band. [Terra Nova’s FOREVER® ‘Purple’ profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/heuchera-forever-purple/) gives the cultivar’s size, zones, light range, bloom, and soil guidance. ## Maintenance Water while new roots establish, then avoid keeping the crown persistently wet. Remove old or damaged leaves in spring and trim flower stems after bloom if a neater outline is wanted.
