Heuchera 'Topaz Jazz'

Heuchera ‘Topaz Jazz’ is a compact coral bells selection with lobed foliage that shifts from honey topaz through gold to lime green beneath a pale veil. Creamy yellow-green flower wands rise above the mound from midsummer into fall, giving this patented selection a bright accent for mixed beds and containers. The breeder, [Terra Nova Nurseries](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/heuchera-topaz-jazz/), identifies the cultivar, patent and EU grant and provides its size, season and growing notes. ## Landscape Use Set it near the front of a border, use it as a small focal plant in a mixed container, or group it with darker foliage for contrast. Terra Nova lists a 9-inch foliage height, 12-inch width and 14-inch flowering height. ## Growing Conditions Part shade or full shade suits the foliage; the breeder also lists full sun in its grower data, so provide more light only where soil moisture can be maintained. Use organic soil with moderate drainage and water at an average rate, allowing the surface to dry rather than keeping the crown wet. ## Maintenance Keep the crown uncovered when planting. In early spring, remove weathered leaves and leave healthy foliage in place. Check containers more often during hot weather because they dry faster than garden soil.
