About Heucherella 'Pink Fizz'

Heucherella ‘Pink Fizz’ is a compact foamy bells cultivar with soft green, lightly silvered leaves and prominent purple veins. Its pink flower wands rise above the foliage in early to midsummer; Walters Gardens lists an 8-inch foliage height, an 18-inch spread, and hardiness in zones 4–9 ([cultivar profile](https://www.waltersgardens.com/variety.php?ID=HERPF)). ## Garden Use Use the dense clump at the front of a border, in a shaded container, or as a small foliage accent among ferns and other woodland perennials. The flowers add a brief pink display above the leaves, while the strongly veined foliage carries most of the plant’s visual interest. Walters Gardens lists full sun, part shade, and full shade, with afternoon shade favored in warmer sites. ## Growing Conditions Provide evenly moist, well-drained soil with organic matter. The breeder lists average water needs and neutral soil chemistry. Full sun can work where moisture remains reliable, but shade helps preserve leaf color and reduces stress in hot weather. ## Maintenance Remove damaged leaves in early spring and clear spent foliage as needed. Water during dry periods, especially in containers, and avoid letting the root zone remain waterlogged. Divide only if the clump becomes crowded.
