Heucherella 'Sweet Tea'

‘Sweet Tea’ is a mounding Heucherella with large, cut leaves that emerge cinnamon and rose-orange in spring, deepen during summer, then lighten in fall. White flowers appear in June and July, rising on stems near 27 inches above foliage about 20 inches tall and 28 inches wide. ## Foliage and flowers Terra Nova lists USDA hardiness zones 4–9, part shade, and evergreen foliage. Its [Sweet Tea profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/heucherella-sweet-tea/) describes the seasonal foliage color, white summer flowers, mature size, and cultural conditions. The selection is also known as Foamy Bells. ## Siting and soil Use the broad mound as a foliage accent in part shade, with enough room for its leaves and flower stems. Humus-rich, well-drained soil and average garden moisture support growth. ## Maintenance Water as needed to maintain average moisture while keeping the soil well drained. Remove damaged leaves when needed, and allow the seasonal foliage changes to remain visible through the growing season.
