Create design onlineAbout Heucherella 'Yellowstone Falls'
Heucherella ‘Yellowstone Falls’ is a trailing FALLS™ selection with lobed chartreuse-to-lime leaves marked in crimson and small white flowers. Its cascading stems suit hanging baskets and ground-cover plantings, while the foliage can retain winter color.
## Appearance
Terra Nova lists mature garden size at about 6 inches high and 24 inches wide, with a 12-inch flower height; stems may trail much farther in a container. The foliage shifts from yellow-chartreuse in spring to lime green, with dark markings along the veins. The breeder lists USDA zones 4–9 and flowering from May through July.
## Growing Conditions
Grow in part shade to full shade in humus-rich, well-drained soil. Keep moisture moderate and plant with the crown at soil level. The breeder notes that this selection tolerates heat and humidity.
## Seasonal Interest
Its foliage supplies color beyond the late-spring and summer bloom period, including winter color in suitable climates. Use it at the edge of containers or let the stems spread across a shaded bed.
## Maintenance
Do not bury the crown when planting. Water as needed to keep the soil from drying completely, and trim damaged foliage when necessary.
