Hosta fortunei 'Gold Standard' is a classic, medium-to-large perennial that forms a dense, arching mound of seersuckered, heart-shaped foliage. Its leaves emerge chartreuse in spring, transitioning to a brilliant golden yellow with irregular dark green margins by summer. This vigorous grower thrives in partial to full shade and moist, organically rich soil. Ideal for woodland borders, groundcover, or as a striking focal point, it also produces lavender flowers on tall scapes in mid-summer.
