About Ivory Coast - Hosta

Hosta ‘Ivory Coast’ is a deciduous, clump-forming perennial grown for its broad blue-green leaves with wide, irregular yellow margins that fade toward white as the foliage matures. Loose clusters of pale purple flowers rise on tall stems in early summer. This selection is a sport of ‘Sagae’ and forms a broadening clump over time. Allow room for a broad mature clump. Flower stems appear in early summer. Watch for slug and snail damage; container-grown hostas may also be susceptible to vine weevil.
